BACKGROUND

Public information transparency, which is an obligation of every Public Agency, is a key part of bureaucratic reform. For Ditjen Bimas Buddha Kemenag RI, public information transparency plays an important role in allowing the public to participate in government policy formulation.

Public information transparency is not only about providing information to the public but is also closely related to accountability in performance and the ability to counter false information (hoaxes).

The following regulations relate to public information transparency:

1. Law No. 14 of 2008 on Public Information Transparency. (see)

2. Government Regulation No. 61 of 2010 on the Implementation of the Public Information Transparency Law. (see)

3. Supreme Court Regulation No. 2 of 2011 on Procedures for Resolving Public Information Disputes in Court. (see)

4. Central Information Commission Regulation No. 1 of 2021 on Public Information Service Standards. (see)​

 

These regulations guarantee the public access to information, enhancing their active role in state administration, both in oversight, execution, and participation in public decision-making processes.

An integrated digital platform system is a tool to meet the needs of the evolving digital era. The “Portal Data Ditjen Bimas Buddha” serves as a central (one-gate system) medium for the implementation of public information transparency, supporting effective and efficient execution, and is accessible to all relevant stakeholders.
